Texas Rangers are trying to finalize a deal for starting pitcher Yu Darvish. Texas dropped $51.7 million just to have the rights to negotiate a deal with the 25 year old. Yu Darvish is a Japanese All Star. He wants 15 million dollars for five years. He is most likely going to get it from the Rangers.
Good? or a Bust?
I personally think he will be good starting pitcher but he won't be amazing. There is a big difference from the Japanese League to The MLB. I think Darvish will be ok. He won't be able to deliver what everyone is looking for because of the high expectations. The young guy will have trouble adjusting to The Show.
