The Miami Marlins preparing for 2012 season

The Miami Marlins are stocking up on fire power during the off season. They have signed Heath Bell as their new closer and Jose Reyes as their new elite shortstop. So is Hanley Ramirez going to be fine with playing at third base? Well Ramirez has told the club he doesn't want to play third base or any other position except shortstop. He hasn't asked for a trade but was just informing the club that he is not ok with changing positions. The marlins seem pretty set on making Ramirez a third baseman saying he will be a All Star third baseman.

To make things more interesting the Miami Marlins have made a 10 year offer to Albert Pujols. Yes is said Albert Pujols!

Hanley Ramirez + Jose Reyes + Albert Pujols? + Heath Bell = A NEW MARLINS TEAM that will be legit (to bad the teams jerseys are horrible)

  1. The Marlins are moving on from Pujols. The club hasn't pulled the offer off the table but are looking at more options. They have major offers for C.J. Wilson and Mark Buehrle hoping to land one of them on the roster.

Hanley is upset about the move to third base has asked for more money to make the move. The marlins are not happy about this and want to trade Hanley. The club wants to trade Hanley Ramirez and free up some salary to go after Prince Fielder.

  2. I would love to see the Yankees get Hanley Ramirez. Maybe Arod for Hanley Ramirez? Most likely not going to happen but I can dream.
