Analysis of Yankees 2012 start

The Yankees are 8-6 and tied for first place with Baltimore in the AL East. Its a good start for the Yankees but there are always some negatives and positives.

Positives:

- Derek Jeter is playing like he is 27 again. Batting .359 with 4 HRs, 10 Runs and 11 RBIs.  Lets hope he can keep this up because he is carrying the team right now.

- Nick Swisher leading the team in RBIs with 14 and is really seeing the ball well. Swisher has a lot of power so when he does make contact look for a long ball.

- Granderson has a 5/5 day on 4/19/2012 with 3 HRs in the first three at bats

- Yankees beat the Red Sox on 100th Anniversary of Fenway

- Andy Pettitte is looking really good and can't wait to get him in the rotation.

- Boston starts off 4-9 in last place

Negatives:

- Yankees starting pitching is horrible! Nova is the best pitcher so far leading the team with 3 W and leading with an ERA of 3.79

- Pineda has another setback in extended spring training. I wonder if we can have a trade back for Montero?

- Tex is off to another slow start. What else is new?

- Speedy Gardner is on the DL15

- Getting killed 7-0 in the 5th inning of the second game against Boston in Fenway (watching it right now)

- Did I mention starting pitching?? Well its that bad that I should state it again.

- Just not playing great baseball. The Yankees wont win every game but they could be doing a lot better.

- The Yankees don't have Matt Kemp. Kemp is having an amazing start. He is on pace to hit 97 HRs this season haha

LETS GO YANKEES!!!!!!!
